Overseas Missionaries

Riverdale Baptist has committed to partially sponsoring two overseas missionaries.

Dorothy Sowden worked for many years with Canadian Baptist Ministries in Mozambique, and has recently taken up new work in Angola.

Charmyn Harms, who grew up here at Riverdale Baptist, is serving with Africa Inland Missions in Kalacha, Kenya.

Soup Kitchen

Each Saturday there is a soup kitchen offered in the downtown Catholic church. This is a joint venture by a number of churches and Riverdale Baptist takes a regular turn at providing soup, buns and a warm greeting to all who drop in.

Copper Ridge Place

Riverdale Baptist is responsible for conducting the Sunday service at Copper Ridge once a month. This service is presented by volunteers from among our members, and occasionally by the youth group.
