Not Alone Youth Conferences are jointly co-ordinated and sponsored by Anglican Churches in Yukon and Riverdale Baptist Church, along with the assistance of several other community churches.  We have worked closely together over the past few years to build this Conference into an event that youth anticipate all year!

Our guest speaker for the past few conferences has been Sid Koop, the dynamic, high-energy, passionate director of Truth Matters Ministries, who has a huge heart for sharing the truth with youth. 

Sid Koop

• Sid: creator and director of Truth Matters Ministry, partnered with the Evangelical Free Church in Lethbridge, Alberta
• Truth Matters Ministry is all about awakening the heart, mind and will of students to the fullness of God through the Truth of Jesus Christ
• Sid has a BA in Youth Ministry and MA in Youth and Family Ministries. Sid has a real love for kids and teens and was the full-time youth pastor in Canmore for four years
• Sid is very open, easily connecting with youth. He speaks to every member of the audience and easily holds everyone’s attention with his excitement and passion
• His messages are powerful, challenging and relevant. He has a huge heart for youth and sharing the truth with them. God has worked and spoken through Sid. Many lives has been changed by his witness

Our goal:

Not Alone Youth Conferences are designed to bring together youth from across the North to connect them with God and with each other, and to focus on the faith we have in common. 
Activities and sessions are designed for youth from grades 7 through 12.

How to register

The weekend is ultimately to facilitate relationships between youth and their leaders, as well as with other youth in the north, so we invite you to consider coming as a group.
