Welcome! As pastor here at Riverdale Church I would like to encourage you to find your place in the mission of Christ and the worship of God. Hopefully this could be with us at Riverdale!

We are an intergenerational community with people who come from many Christian faith backgrounds. We endeavor to model the way of Jesus, who had a place at his table for everyone.

Throughout the Spring of 2010 we have many activities going on.  There is an ongoing MOPS activity for young moms with pre-school children and a couple of new home groups including one that is for Mandarin speakers.  On Ascension Sunday, May 16th, our Choir will present a multi-lingual praise to God.  From May to July I will be on sabbatical.  Rev. Barry Aitken will be with us from May 2 to July 11 and would be happy to meet with you over refreshments and talk about our community and being a Christian in Yukon.  You can also get a bit of the “flavor” of our community by checking out the “Culture Statement” on the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada Web Site (you will find it under Resources - Pastors.)
